My Life Lived Dying

Greeting good readers,

I started Brazen's Rumanations years ago in order to inform, teach and entertain. I created this blog at a time in my life that was horribly frightening and painful. I was fighting to survive after surgeons were forced to remove my entire large intestine. I was dying. Literally. I had a major blood infection that threatened to kill me. I wasn't sure I would survive; and some days I hurt so bad I wanted to die. But I fought through it and survived, much to shock and surprise of my doctors, family and friends. This blog was to serve as my last hooray. It was a vehicle to tell the world what I knew, what I surmised, and how I felt.

And then my overwhelming depression took over. My blog was abandoned. Brazen's Rumanations stood as an edifice to what and who I thought I was. I didn't want to think of myself as terribly ill. But I was. After all, before my intestines decided to secede from my body, I was cheerful and social and whole. Of course I lied to myself daily, repeating the same mantra over and over again as if to convince myself that I was a fighter. A warrior. A badass. A fighter. A warrior. A badass. Rinse. Repeat.

I knew I was just kidding myself. I was bed-ridden. Family members and close friends milled in and out, gathering in the corners of my sick room, muttering about how sad it was. How vivacious I had been. How horrible it would be when I finally, mercifully, passed on. Where would I be buried? What insane punk rock song would I like played? (It would have been, Dying to Know by Pennywise, btw.) They shook their lowered heads, wringing their hands, blotting away tears. I felt as though I was on display. No more or less than an exhibit at Ripley's Believe It or Not. I wanted to pitch an unholy fit. I wanted to throw all those beautifully vased fresh flowers at their feet. I was witnessing my own candlelight vigil. I was frequently hospitalized because this organ failed or that infection set in. And they came to my hospital room in droves, too.

Do not think I am unappreciative. There are people out there dying, with nary a kind heart paying on iota of attention to them. Oh, I appreciated them. I felt horrible for them all. For a while I felt like I was the source of their pity, their sadness. My very existence hurt them to the core. Had it not been for me, they would be lighter of heart and cruising through life unabated. I hated asking anyone for anything. I hated being a burden. I was simply existing. Not living.

For the first two years, people kindly invited me to this event or that happening, knowing the invitation was but a kindness; I could never actually attend. After so many invites, they just stopped. I wasn't being written off, I was being left alone in my misery. I put on this brave face, I laughed and listened to music and watched television. No more, no less. But the isolation was maddening. I was alone. Somehow, being alone was better than having people worry about me. Better than watching their sad faces smiling back at me through tearing eyes.

Then something miraculous happened. I forced myself to get up. A doctor suggested I get on Facebook. It was a way for me to connect to society. To stretch my mental legs, so to speak. And with that, Brazen Brunhilda was off and running. At first, I couldn't sit at the computer for very long periods of time. But I kept at it. I allowed ME to been seen, scars and attitude and all.

Now I have 4,500 friends. They are diverse and multi-national. They bring me joy.

And now I am back on Blogger. I have found my voice once again.

Please share in my new found release back into society. And thank you for reading.
Sincerely,
Brazen Brunhilda

Learn Palmisty: A Beginner's Guide to the Art of Reading Palms.

It is important for a beginner palm reader to study each individual line and it's meaning before making any snap judgments. I suggest the student make photocopies of friends' hands (or scan the hand's image directly into a computer) without mention of the hand's possessor (to lessen the likelihood of forming conclusions based on prior knowledge of the subject's traits, personality, and life).

Do not forget to make copies of both the left and right hand on any one individual. When comparing the hands of a subject, any similarities or differences in the markings are of monumental importance. The left hand represents hard-wired traits spiritually and genetically inherited at birth and maps out the obstacles, gifts, and potential future of an individual. The right hand depicts the personality and traits the subject has developed through free will and necessity.

For instance, upon studying the hands of a subject, one may find that the left hand is riddled with troublesome lines depicting heartbreaking loss, failed marriages, and a tendency to commit to criminal or immoral acts, but the lines on the right hand reflect a person who has managed to live a decent life without too many trials and tribulations. On the other hand (no pun intended), a person who has a left hand chocked full of promise and good tidings and a right hand with very disturbing lines denoting many losses, one may conclude that somewhere along the line the subject made poor choices or was the victim of negative, unavoidable circumstances that lead to his or her downfall. Fate is a complex concept. While the path we walk is pre-ordained, we still have free will and mind of our own that no man may put asunder.

Getting started:

Significant and supreme, the Line of the Head (figure 1.1) is the most noteworthy line on the palm. It is the driving force of the individual and must be studied thoroughly at the very commencement of a reading. It represents the "Mentality" of the individual.

Notes:

1. If the Line of Head on the right hand is in the same position as the Line of Head on the left hand, it can be safe to assume that the subject had little interference and minimal obstacles that would change his natural inclination to develop his own unique "Mentality." But, if the Line of Head on the left hand slopes downward and the Line of Head on the right hand is straighter and not forked, it may be safe to conclude that the individual moved away from his natural inclinations and became more rational and realistic in order to survive. Perhaps the subject was given a talent at painting but choose the life of a business minded art dealer instead because an accident or other event stopped him from cultivating his artistic gifts. If the Line of Head on the left hand is straight and the Line of Head on the right is sloped, the reader can safely assume the individual abandoned his more practical side in order to lead a more creative life.  It must be noted that in the case of an artist or writer, the latter scenario would represent a subdued tendency toward egotism or eccentricity.

2. If the Line of Head on the left hand is faint and well defined on the right, then the subject developed his own "Mentality" regardless of his parents or nurturers. This is especially indicative of a person who was ignored, abandoned, or improperly educated in childhood but decided to teach himself instead of wallowing in ignorance. This is a definite sign that the subject made a choice to become ambitious and successful regardless of adversity or opposition. However, if the Line of Head on the left hand is solid and well defined and faint on the right, the reader may safely assume the individual squandered his mental gifts and has not lived up to his potential. In this case, he may have dropped out of school, refused to gain additional knowledge, is not interested in bettering himself and has little or no ambition, regardless of how he handles himself or his social status. Some members of royalty and those from "old money" families have this Line of Head.

3. A broad Line of Head depicts fickleness, unpredictability, and a tendency to be distracted or oblivious.

4. A sharply entrenched Line of Head denotes a very strong mentality.

5. A fine slender Line of Head depicts a person who used his intellect to its extreme. This line is seen on great thinkers.

6. If the Line of Head (figure 1.1- yellow line) juts out from the inside of the Line of Life, it denotes an overly hesitant, extremely emotional, temperamental, apprehensive and fearful person. This person may be one who cannot control his emotions and may be prone to frequent outbursts such as screaming fits or crying jags. If it appears that the Line of Head becomes straight at the end, the individual may gain control of his emotions later in life. However, if the Line of Head is more sloped at the end and leans toward The Mount of the Moon (near the wrist, on the fleshy part of the palm on the right pinky side of the hand), the individual's lack of control will worsen with age. In addition, if this type of Line of Head is faint or indistinct and contains little hair lines shooting out from it, the subject may be prone to mental disorders or violent behavior and may denote an addictive personality. Should the Line of Head continue across the palm and into the Positive Mount of Mars (in the web of the palm), the individual will become mentally stable and get any and all addictions under control later in life.

7. Many artists and creative thinkers have this next type of Line of Head. If it (figure 1.1 - red line) is joined to the Line of Life, the subject may suffer from low self-esteem. He may also be sensitive, doubting, and overly modest concerning his talents and ambition. If this Line of Head (figure 1.2 - blue line) reaches into the Mental Mount of Mars, the individual is more temperamental, outspoken, and opinionated. If this line is straight (or somewhat straight), the person will still be emotional, but will be resolute and unwavering when carrying out his life goals. If this type of Line of Head slopes downward on the palm, his sensitivity is heightened. If the Line of Head is also forked at the end (figure 1.2 - yellow line), the individual may allow his logical and practical side to argue incessantly with his emotional and creative side. This may cause him great grief and make him a neurotic mess of indecision. If the Line of Head slopes toward the Mount of Mars (figure 1.2 - orange line), the subject may be in control of his emotions and use them whenever he feels the need to do so. This person is adept at hiding his sensitivity from his family and friends and may choose to only show this side when watching Old Yeller. If the Line of Head slopes all the way into the Mount of the Moon (figure 1.2 - light blue line), the subject may be so highly-strung and erratic that he never accomplishes anything. He may be lazy or an incessant daydreamer. If the Line of Head slopes at a downward angle and then curves (figure 1.2 - pink line), the subject may be depressed, overly emotional and sensitive, moody, morose, gloomy and isolated. He may contemplate suicide at one time or another. The subject may also have a tendency to think negatively and suffer from low self-esteem or engage in dark practices.

8. In most people, the Line of Head juts from the outside of the Line of Life (figure 1.1 - light blue line). As with the other types of Line of Heads, this position has many different variations and distinctions (figure 1.3). It is better to have the Line of Head and Line of Life's beginning point close together than far apart. When the Line of Head has a narrow gap between it and Line of Life, the individual is more likely to be witty, intelligent, open to new ideas, brave in mental matters, and courageous in body and spirit. If a subject with this Line of Head and Line of Life position and the Line of Head travels straight across the palm, the subject is a very strong leader who needs a reason to live. He is a go-getting power dynamo who can do just about anything he likes. If however, the narrow gaped Line of Head slopes downward in the palm, the subject may be highly intelligent and witty, but he will also be quite lazy and lack direction. If the Line of Head slopes upward (figure 1.3 - orange line), the subject may be a banner-waver who fights community causes for the good of the world. He is an effective leader and master of his own destiny. If there is a large gap between the Line of Head and the Line of Life (figure 1.3 - blue line), the subject may be unable to express his emotions or be happy to suppress them. He may be reckless and take risks with his life and money on a whim. He may be an insomniac, restless, bored, confused upon which road to travel, and generally temperamental and dissatisfied. If this line is littered with islands, multiply recklessness by 10. He may have a criminal instinct. If the Line of Head slopes downward at a sharp angle, (figure 1.3 - purple line), the subject may be depressed, unhappy, or detached from society.

9. The Line of Head may be different than the models we have shown you previously. There are distinct variations on the Line of Head that denote specific events that have or will come to pass in the subject's life. If the Line of Head takes a jump, as in turning upward or downward slightly then regaining it's original track (figure 1.5 - yellow line), it denotes a speed bump in the subject's life. Of course, this type of variation promises that the individual will conquer the problem and come out the bad experience stronger and in a better position than when he started. If the line contains islands or other marks, it may not be a good sign that the subject will come out of the experience unscathed. If there are fine lines jutting upwards out of the Line of Head without it being bent (figure 1.5 - red line), the subject will carry the bad experience with him for the rest of his life. If the lines become more faint as time goes by, it means the subject has made a concerted effort to regain control of his life and come to accept what has happened to him and grow through adversity.

This curve of the Line of Head (figure 1.5 - orange line) may be either a curve in the Line of Head itself or be represented by a fine line jutting off the end of the Line of Head. This line indicated that the subject changed the way he thinks at an exact age. At this turning point in his life, he either suddenly became more logical and realistic. If the palm contains a deeply marked Sun Line that appears near the age of the Mentality transformation, the subject may have become more inspired and artistic or won the lottery, meaning good things came into his life. If Line of Head makes a sharp curve toward the Mount of Mercury (figure 1.5 - pink line), the subject possesses an extreme desire to become wealthy. The older he gets, the more fanatic he may become and could consistently hatch far out get-rich-quick schemes. If the Line of Head branches out to form another deep line and reaches toward the top of the palm (figure 1.5 - purple line), the subject will be consumed by a yearning for great wealth and will do almost anything to get it, going so far to commit illegal acts in order to possess mass amounts of money. In a moral and ethical person, the reader can be safe in assuming that the subject will work as humanly possible to achieve his lofty aspirations. He may be a workaholic or power-hungry executive, but he labors hard to make good old hard cash.

10. If the Line of Head travels straight across the palm, without breaks (figure 1.6 - blue line), the subject is a very unique individual. Highly uncommon, this marker denotes a person of extreme concentration, great intelligence, and enormous intensity. The subject possesses a powerful and forceful mind and has robust and fervent emotions as well. He has a keen sense of what he wants to accomplish and may well have a higher purpose for the world. He may be a future champion for human rights or a martyr. Of course, that all depends on his character.

The subject, if he is good and just, is a strong leader, willful subject, and great thinker and a spiritual warrior. If the subject is evil, then this marker should prove to be an ominous sign of great dark power. It is my belief that the individual who bears this Line of Head is meant to accomplish something great - what that is is unknown, but the mere exceptional quality of the meaning of this Line of Head brings to the table inner turmoil.
First, this line merges the heart and Line of Head to form an individual that combines his great logic and reason with his emotions. It is a tricky balance to contend with. Both of his energies - reason and emotion, yin and yang, feminine principle and masculine principle, and nurture and aggression are housed in the same Mentality. There is no separation between his two halves.  In work, he will use his passion to drive his intellect, but in love, he will allow his heart to rule his head, which is never a good thing. He may become fixated on the person who stole his heart. At the end of the relationship, courtship, or crush, he may pine away his hours mulling over what could have been.
In addition, he wears his heart on his sleeve, is aggressive when he wants something, and needs a whole lot of personal space. He is detached from others because he is so darn different. He enjoys being alone as much as he does in the company of others. The subject may also be a loner who just doesn't fit in. In business, he is much happier working alone on his projects than with a bunch of people always hanging around, snooping into his business.

It important to note the position of the line. Is it closer to where the heart line is supposed to lie or nearer where the Line of Head is?  Closer to the heart means he will be more emotional and sentimental and closer to the head means he will be a hard-wired practical type.

11. Now we will discuss what certain marks, like squares or crosses ("X marks the spot") mean when they are attached to the Line of Head.

Crosses = Denotes head trauma, concussions, and accidents.
Squares = Denotes the defense and safeguarding of the head. The double Line of Head is an interesting concept. First, it is very uncommon and unique and carries with it a ability to foster two different personas or juggle two distinctly different jobs. He could use the emotional side of his personality and only show that to his family and friends and use his practical side only in business. He could be both an artist and a mathematician thereby using both sides of brain equally well. He can be passive-aggressive.
A = Denotes the subject may be an authoritarian or domineering in the workplace and in the family. Argumentative and aggressive behavior occasionally gets out of control.
B = Denotes the subject may be injured by falling objects clunking him on the head, malicious blows to the cranium, or dynamite or bomb blasts. Watch out for being hit over the head in the study with the pipe wrench.
C = Denotes the subject may fall down and knock his head on an object.
D = Denotes the subject may suffer head trauma at work or under the care of a medical professional.
E = Denotes the subject is protected from head injury. This square can be anywhere on the palm, just as long as if touches the Line of Head.

Also called the Great Palmer Arch, the Line of Life (figure 2.1 - green line) is greatly associated with the organs of the body.

First, let us start with the basics. There are eight mounts of the hand (figure 2.1 - lines in yellow). These sections of mounts all mean something different. A = The Mount of Venus. Means Affection, love, beauty, passion, and sex.

B = The Mount of Mars Positive. Means Leader, Resilient, Obstinate, Giving, Brave, Freethinker, Impulsive, and Addicted.
C = The Mount of Jupiter. Means Power, Superiority, Expansiveness, Ambition.
D = The Mount of Saturn. Means Depressed, Aloof, and Somber.
E = The Mount of The Sun. Means Success, Intelligence, and Avant-Garde.
F = The Mount of Mercury. Means Technology, Hard Sciences, Business, and Free Thought.
G = The Mount of Mars Negative. Means Passivity, Brave, Sneaky, Manipulating, and Deviant.
H = The Mount of The Moon. Means Beauty, Grace, Jealousy, Creativity, and Adaptability.

Now we will discuss the Line of Life in depth.

When well defined, unbroken, and long, the subject should live many years without too many serious health issues.

When the Line of Life contains many little connected chains (like in a metal fence), the subject will unfortunately suffer from gastrointestinal problems, a low immunity to viruses, and low energy. The position of the chain links on the Line of Life means everything. Understanding them can show the palmist when the illness occurred or may occur, the length of the illness (chronic or temporary), and the age the subject will be when stricken.

In brief, the shape and dept of the Line of Life is very important.
A slender, well-defined, and deep Line of Life denotes a strong willpower, assertiveness, and resilience. The subject may learn from his mistakes, use logic to avoid tragedy, and heal from mental trauma easier than others.

A fat superficial line denotes a person who is physical, either in work or play. He may follow instead of lead. He also may be uncertain of himself and suffer from low self-esteem.
If the Line of Life curves around the Mount of Venus and bends far out into the palm ("B" on the red line), the subject may be sexually attractive and passionate, literally brimming with a magnetic sex appeal.
However, if the Line of Life begins low in the web of hand near the Mount of Mars ("A" on the red line), the subject may be temperamental, confrontational, and lack ambition. If the Line of Life just clips the Mount of Venus ("B" on the purple line), the subject may be standoffish or aloof concerning sex. He may not be extremely healthy or sexually attractive. He may lack emotional sensitivity, thus turning off a potential mate from the get-go.

However, if the subject's Line of Life begins high up on the hand near the Mount of Jupiter ("A" on the purple line), the subject may be ambitious and be able to keep his emotions and temper under control, perhaps too much so.

This line (figure 2.3 - the red line) is the Line of Head. It is a very important part of identifying and describing the ascending lines. The Line of Life is in blue in all figures of this section. The Line of Destiny (figure 2.3 - the orange line) is used as a reference point in this section. This line (figure 2.3 - the yellow line) is often called the Inner Line of Life or The Line of Mars. The subject is strong, energetic, brave, heroic, protected from serious chronic illnesses (at least in through the middle of life), and has a sense of purpose. It must be noted that this line is fairly uncommon. Hands that have this mark are lucky - any breaks in the main Line of Life that are considered unfortunate or all out bad are drastically diminished when The Line of Mars is present. Double this protection if the left hand mirrors the same line as the right.

However, should the line be darker than the other flesh on the hand, the subject must be weary of rushing in to fight or protect without thinking about the ramifications to his actions beforehand. In addition, the Line of Mars indicates the subject has a tendency for confrontations and picking fights. When a line branches off of the Line of Mars (the Inner Line of Life) and into the Mound of the Moon (figure 2.3 - purple line), the subject needs to be entertained. He needs to seek out new adventures and loves to have fun. If the Line of Head is faint, broken, or weak, he must guard against becoming addicted to food, drink, risky behaviors, and work. If the Line of Mars actually cuts through the Line of Life, the subject may die prematurely from his addictions. In addition, if the main Line of Life is broken and the subject has the Line of Mars, there will be some time in his life when he will ultimately escape death by surviving a horrible accident or terrible life-threatening disease. Tiny lines that ascend, or shoot off of the Line of Life, are for the most part considered good omens. The deeper and thinner the better. They represent vitality, intelligence, and strength and add to the already present power (or lack thereof) of the subject's Line of Life. It is important to note these feathery lines, no matter how faint and note what lines they cross and to which mount they are pointing.

A. Off of the Line of Life toward the Mount of Jupiter: The subject wants to better himself and make a comfortable living with all the perks of being successful. He may also wish to lead others and at its worst, dominate those around him.

B. Off the Line of Life stopping just before touching it: The subject, at some point in his development or in the future will make a poor business or marital decision, has made a bad financial investment, or has not used good judgment.

C. Off the Line of Life and touching the Line of Heart: The subject has allowed a romantic involvement to stunt his personal growth and halt his progression toward his destiny. This romance may have been one in which he was browbeaten or manipulated.

D. Off the Line of Life and running into or crossing the Line of Destiny: It must first be noted that this is a good omen, especially if the Line of Destiny appears stronger at the place where the ascending sprout touches it or crosses through it. The subject decided to create his own fate at the risk of losing his friends and family and became successful. Perhaps he was a drug-dealing thief who fed off the welfare system and secretly felt like a failure, even though everyone else around him appeared happy as clams. He wanted more out of life so he went to school, got a great job, bought a house in the suburbs and settled down. When an ascending line shoots off the Line of Life toward the Mount of Saturn (figure 2.3 - pale blue line) and never touching the Line of Destiny, the subject has duel fates. He essentially has two Life Missions to carry out.

The Islands

Islands on the palm are never good omens. Below is a short list of what islands on certain parts of the palm mean.
1. When lined up across the Line of Head, it denotes ill health or concerns about the body. If the Line of Head and the Line of Life have a large gap between them and there is a string of islands across it, it indicates a brain illness or mental illness. He may also be extremely temperamental and overly aggressive.

Bonnie Parker is a perfect example of a negative 22 Life Path. On the good side of the coin, t
his life path indicates a person who must work through many ideas and emotions to fulfill their life mission. This "Master Number" is the most powerful Life Path number and the person attached to it must use it as a mighty gift but must work to understand it. Literally, these people can achieve anything they set their minds to. They can create a new idea, implement it, and complete the project. Many of these individuals can be famous, wealthy, and wise and make it look really easy, as if God Himself gave them a special leg up on talent. In addition, they seem to be extremely intuitive but practical at the same time. In the best circumstances, Life Path 22 people become statesmen, spiritual leaders, great philosophers, or famed artists.

Most Life Path 22's are good entities that operate within the law and recognize a moral or ethical code, even if they make up their unique code without the shackles of majority rule. They could even be renegades who refuse to bow down to any "tried-and-true" set of rules and regulations. A truly negative Life Path 22 is hard to come by, but it does happen. Uber-powerful entities that have achieved great status and success that happen to be dark souls can run amok and cause serious problems into the world. They may be motivated by power or money and become totally ruthless, reckless, dictatorial, dominant, and intimidating. On the other side, some Life Path 22 people become overwhelmed by their strength and allow their passions to overwhelm them.

Whether Bonnie was a dark soul or not will never be proven in this realm of reality, and we must try not to judge her soul…her actions, yes, her soul, no. Her Life Theme may have been extremely complicated or difficult and she may have been suffering from some sort of psychological disorder such as depression.  Regardless of the reasons why she made certain decisions is almost a moot point.

It is known that Bonnie was deeply enamored of Clyde Barrow. Her love for him was all consuming and this passion facilitated their criminal union. When combined with his volatile personality, Bonnie allowed the power of Life Path 22 to become corrupted while remaining vigorous and headstrong. So basically we have a person who could do anything doing bad things.
Add the Destiny number to her chart and we become even more interested. Eleven is a  "Master Number" and is quite rare in numerology. It represents idealism, inspiration, strength, beauty, philosophy, sensitivity, introspection, and the supernatural realm. The Expression 11 individual can do almost anything he sets his mind to but usually prefers to dance to beat of his own drum rather than follow a structured checklist. Money is important but not necessary to feel successful. On the flip side, with all great power comes a great taxing on the mind, body, and spirit. An Expression 11 individual who does not feel comfortable in his own skin may express high anxiety, be overly sensitive, moody, explosive, impractical, or a know-it-all.

What we know about Bonnie Parker is that she had an insatiable desire to learn. She was an avid reader, especially when it came to crime or mystery novels. Imaginative and clever, she enjoyed non-fiction accounts of crimes as well. She once lived vicariously through books, but eventually made the stories come alive in real-life bloody terror. She enjoyed sinking into a dream world and often spent days reading while life passed her by. Remember, Bonnie was a child of the early 20th century, a time in which women were relegated to becoming homemakers, mothers, waitresses, or prostitutes. There were simply not many outlets for a woman to spread her intellectual wings. Indeed, a woman's intellectual prowess was looked at as a downfall, not a gift. Men controlled almost every aspect of life (with the exception of notable women in history who themselves "broke the mold") and the mere idea of a 4'10" woman robbing men at gunpoint, shooting cops, and stealing cars was a horrifying concept. She was aggressive, both socially and sexually, and was apparently comfortable with Clyde and living life on the wild side.

As far as her soul's urge, Bonnie Parker (Soul's Urge 8) turned out to be almost everything she wanted to be. Deep down, possessing authority was an undeniable passion, privileged social status was a goal, and material gain was an ambition. She had an intense impulse to organize and lead. Using her well-honed confidence and energy, she never accepted failure as an option. Intelligent, stubborn, analytical, and of strong character, she was mentally under complete control of her faculties and calm under pressure. To a Soul's Urge 8, following others, such as Clyde, may foster feelings of resentment or worthlessness.  Power struggles may have made her uneasy and unhappy, but in the end, she allowed him to usurp her power…probably because she loved and trusted him. Leading is the only way this soul will feel fulfilled and she must use talents and skills to their potential. On the bad side of Soul's Urge 8, the individual may become controlling, unyielding, severe, obstinate, and annoyed. It is important to remember that she wanted to feel this way. No one kills and robs people for four years without wanting to do it.

Her Life Path (22), Destiny (11), and Soul's Urge (8) were all in accord. Granted, she capitalized on the negative aspects of these numbers, but she also stayed true to her fate. For better or for worse, Bonnie Parker willing chose her path and used her talents to hurl her into a life of crime. Apparently, she would have not had it any other way.

Most people numbers are contradictory. For instance, had Bonnie's Soul's Urge been a number 2, she may have been more interested in building a little clap-board house in the country and raising a few kids instead of going on a killing spree, murdering other people's children. This contradiction in numbers would have served to keep her from engaging in criminal acts instead of actually doing mischief. Unfortunately, numerology had other things in mind. Her numbers were so intense and similar that she could probably not help but commit heinous crimes alongside Clyde. Of course, I am not in any way, shape, or form condoning Bonnie's behavior. I am simply pointing out that when certain desires are hard wired in the psyche and soul it may be extremely difficult to deny them.

The Inner Desires number concerns itself with secret desires hidden within the heart or even fantasies that can never be realized (for instance, a person who is not coordinated cannot possibly be a world-class ballet dancer, but that does not mean she cannot dream about it). Now let us analyze Bonnie Parker's Inner Desires Number. Bonnie's Inner Desires number was 3, a number that denotes a free spirit who enjoys life and searches for beauty in any form.

This number concerns a person who wants to be fashionable, esteemed, and admired. She may yearn to create literature, paintings, and music even if she has no talent. This desire may be almost overwhelming. She may stare at a beautiful work of art and wonder why she has the passion to create but yet does possess the gifts to paint like Monet or compose like Mozart. She wants to spread her wings and experience life on her terms, not someone else's. She wants to express herself and be a freethinker who contemplates ideas without the shackles of organized dogma. On the flip side, the negatives may be a real damper on these dreams.

A suppressed Inner Desires Number 3 may have serious problems if she cannot crawl out from under the heavy weight of rules and regulations that crush the spirit's drive will make her want to slither out of her skin. If the creative spirit cannot go free occasionally, she may become resentful, unfulfilled and depressed.

We will never completely know how Bonnie's Inner Desires Number affected her. By all accounts Bonnie was a very attractive woman who admired beauty. What did she daydream about? We will never know, but what we do know is that she was a decent poet and writer who dreamed of publishing her works. In the early 1930's, had she known she and her lover would still be household names she may have made a concerted effort to leave additional works behind.

One of the problems with Bonnie Parker's numerology makeup may have been that the numbers added up to a personality that knew no fear, no bounds, and little compassion. She was thief and a murderer. She betrayed her family and fell in love with a common criminal. From her power to accomplish anything she desired (Life Path 22) to her fascination with creativity and beauty (Destiny 11 and Inner Desires 3) to her built in need to dominate and intimidate (Inner Desires 8), it was no surprise she turned out to be infamous criminal she came to be.

Now, let us examine her astrological sign. She was a Libra 1. Intelligent, knowledgeable, and a self-taught philosopher, Bonnie was a brilliant blend of brains, beauty and gumption. Lurking underneath her cool and attractive façade was a private person who loved the spotlight but enjoyed slinking into the shadows with her own convoluted thoughts. A walking contradiction, Bonnie had to come to terms with her complicated thoughts and ideas in order to understand who she was and what she wanted from life. Clyde loved her but was controlling. She loved Clyde but resented his roughneck sexual persona. Bonnie wanted to be in love and accepted the high cost of keeping that affair alive. She wanted to write but had a deep-seeded need to control and intimidate others.

According to K. Campbell's Blue Fairy Moon article on Libra 1, "[The typical] Libra 1 has a tendency to become neurotic and confused on the direction she should take, but after hours of personal reflection, she will eventually find the right path. Even in her frequent indecision, she will inevitably realize that it is better to be anxious than impulsive and foolhardy. This hesitancy springs from her deep ethical convictions telling her she may be wrong." After deep deliberation, Bonnie decided to take the path less traveled by embarking on a crime spree. Some part of her broke free from her natural moral path, with dire consequences.  Campbell continues, "This is not to say that the Libra 1 is hell bent on total domination.  He is absolutely charming and easily admired; he simply has a hang up about being perceived as weak and undisciplined. He may fear being dominated. That concept is truly laughable, considering the Libra 1 is one of most steadfast and predicable signs in the zodiac." Of course, Bonnie may have allowed this aspect of her personality to run amok and may have been thinking about Clyde's needs and desires rather than her own. This need to dominate overshadows her need to appear strong to society. She was strong, at least on the outside. She was at the mercy of others and became a follower of Clyde and accepted her subservient role while perhaps hating it at the same time. Simultaneously, Bonnie was obviously strong and ruthless, lending credence to the supposition she was internally driven yet reserved; merciless yet insightful; and dominant yet dominated.

"On the outside [Libra 1] is a gracious and charming person, but inside he a mess of conflicting emotions," writes Campbell. To the world during 1934, Bonnie was considered a sociopathic monster at worst and poor pathetic girl whisked away by a smooth-talking thug at best. On the outside she represented a woman corrupted, but inside lived the soul of a poet caught up in a life of crime. She had no home, no future, and the inevitability of her and Clyde's death must have hung over her like a dark cloak of despair.

To recap, Bonnie Parker was living a life of crime, caught in a self-made prison of sin, despair, and excitement. Like a tightrope artist operating with no net, Bonnie must have understood early on that nothing, not even Clyde, could save her from fate. Numerology coupled with her unshakable astrological sign had her over a barrel, so to speak. But was what she did and who she was part of her Life Theme? I am no psychic and I cannot tell with any certainty what her Primary and Secondary Life Themes could have been, but through good 'ol logical reasoning may be able to at least narrow the playing field. Now, we are assuming she was NOT a dark soul (dark souls do not have Life Themes).

The contenders:

Creator
This soul is motivated to create. Whether he is a sculptor, writer, painter, illustrator, singer, musician, dancer, or designer, he must express himself. His creativity bursts from his soul like a butterfly from a cocoon. He is driven by a burning wish to provide humanity with art, whether it is a neo-classical operetta or watercolor pop art. His creations are his children, born from his mind, heart, and soul. He unselfishly gives them to humanity as reminders that regardless of all of the hatred, chaos and sadness in the world there is still, and will forever be, beauty in life.  Suppression of his artistic desires may cause him to feel depressed, physically ill or useless. In addition, with the gift of creativity comes a great emotional burden, especially if he finds immense fame. If not handled properly, the Creator may find that his gift is more than he is willing or able to handle.

Emotive
This overly sensitive Life Theme experiences every emotion in the spectrum, from extreme anger to debilitating sadness to tremendous elation. Sometimes moody and frequently unpredictable, the Emotive may seem as though she is in state of perpetual PMS, but the depth of her emotion is deep as a wishing well. She loves profoundly and hates intensely. She is a cauldron of seething passion that runs the emotional gamut between heavenly highs and hellish lows. She must find balance or she will spin out of control.

Influencer
This Life Theme depicts a person who uses her wile, wit, and will to get exactly what she wants in life. If she is a good person who uses her beauty, intelligence, charm, or feminine sensuality to persuade others to either do her bidding or help her accomplish something good, she is not to be considered a wicked woman. If she is a dishonest, vindictive, jealous, or self-absorbed person she may very well turn this Life Theme on its ear and leave a trail of brokenhearted people in her wake. Spies, supermodels and housewives would be well suited for this theme, but socialites, go-go dancers, and political activists may not be prime Influencer material.

Provocateur
While many Life Themes would sit on the couch watching a reality television show while the room goes up in flames, the Provocateur Theme is the one to jump up, grab a fire extinguisher, and get everyone out of the house. He instigates movement and is often the first one to see a problem and decide something should be done…now. A mover and shaker, the Provocateur has the power incite passion in others. He is innovative and determined to complete the lofty goals he has set for himself. Problems arise when he becomes bored and unsure of himself.

Tormenter
The polar opposite of the Fretter, this Life Theme depicts a person who does very evil things within society to ensure humanity progresses into a heightened state of enlightenment. The Tormenter may be a real mean motor scooter and is often confused with a truly dark soul. He could be a murderer, sociopath, psychopath, or misanthrope who preys on the innocent. Often, he is a hardened criminal who shows no remorse for his despicable actions. He creates evil and is usually punished, and in the end his deplorable crimes force humanity to admit evil like his really exists. His very existence may force the legal system to reassess archaic laws, question the death penalty, or make new laws protecting children from predators. Whatever the reason for his life, he changes people's perception of good and evil. The person who charts this theme understands he will be hated, shunned and severely punished for his crimes but understands he will still wantonly and knowingly commit them in order to complete his soul's mission. It is important to remember that the Tormenter may look and act exactly like a dark soul. Avoid both types like the plague.

Villainy
This Life Theme is driven by a need to control individuals, groups, and situations. His well of power springs from a deep-seated need to dominate, destroy, or devastate other people. Psychologically, he is cruel, controlling, wicked and impervious and indifferent to the emotional pain of others. Without holding complete control over another, deep down he knows they would abandon him and his wickedly malevolent ways. He may physically and emotionally abuse his wife and kids; sexually intimidate, threaten, and terrorize an adolescent neighbor; or verbally and physically harass a coworker. Perhaps his soul's mission is to serve as a catalyst to those he abuses; by giving them a reason to stand up for themselves and leave a desperate and horrible situation behind, the abused may overcome an obstacle to their own mission in life.

It is my hypothesis that Bonnie Parker's Secondary Theme is Creator. She was a poet and writer who looked for beauty in unattractive or corrupted things.

Her Primary Theme is much more difficult to understand. Was she a purely evil misanthrope who purposely hurt others for her own gain? Or was she a Disciple who blindly followed Clyde into the abyss of crime and death? Is there another Theme(s) you think could have been her primary motivator? Remember, our two themes usually cross each other and are very dissimilar.

Another piece of the spiritual puzzle that was Bonnie Parker was her Chinese Sign, The Dog. According to the author of Blue Fairy Moon's Chinese Signs, " The dog is reliable, sincere, inspirational, faithful, critical, outspoken, and a fussbudget. Worry sometimes fuels the dog's deep desire to protect the people he loves and his natural aggressiveness may occasionally get him in trouble. The dog is most comfortable in occupations such as executive, humanitarian, educator, protester, or military spy."
Bonnie was loyal to Clyde, aggressive and violent, outspoken and opinionated, and protective.

Finally, Bonnie's tree was the Hazelnut Tree.  "The people represented by this tree are sometimes charismatic, unchallenging, sympathetic, compassionate, social cause banner waver, well-liked, admired, changeable, an unpredictable lover, frank, and has good prudence."

Days of the Month

Ruled by the Sun
You are good at decision-making in the home and workplace; are self-assured and confident that your endeavors will succeed (sometimes unrealistically so); revel in your own brand of uniqueness; and may occasionally subdue your emotions. Your vision is far-reaching and you may not enjoy dealing with the pesky and tedious details of making plans; rather, you prefer to design and perhaps maintain a project rather than deal with the boring day-to-day problems that may be attached to it.
You are similar in style to those born on the 10th, 19th, and 28th
